ROUND TRIP U.S.A.
I have to say first and
foremost that this was the best AND the worst trip I ever took. This was termed
a vacation until about 7 days into it when we changed the label from
"vacation" to "adventure". We saw many famous and less than
famous beautiful sights (the picture above was taken from a helicopter near the
Grand Canyon) and at a couple points feared for our well being. This also
turned into more than a sightseeing trip when Martin and I found out where we
would live in the near future. I have broken the trip up to day-by-day periods
and maybe I'm biased, but each day will have at least one interesting story for
everyone. Check it out.
(P.S.: Martin and I collectively agreed this was to be the type of trip where our own words would not be enough to describe what would be seen. In fact, he knew it better than me since he had a dastardly plan in the works already. Upon arriving back home, I became quite adept at iMovie by taking these mass amounts of pictures, applying the trippy effects included with iMovie, and putting them to music. Unfortunately server space is in fact finite and they took up too much room, so instead I give you the photos in the pockets of bus and tourist time it took to take them. You'll laugh.
